an internet pop thing from philadelphia

Here’s another new one from Manic Attracts side-project Grey Gardens! A little poppier than Manic Attracts, Grey Gardens’ also trade some of the garage-y grit for Cure-ier post-punk sounds, resulting in something not so far off from The Wake or late-period Section 25. And the addition of Flowers’ Rachel Kennedy on backing vocals in the chorus takes “Darkest Dreams” from a nice demo to something really promising. With all of these Grey Gardens demos floating around, it’s gotta be time for a proper record soon, no?!

Also! The October Mix will be on the way soon! Sorry for the delay!
