Siamese Twins, who released what was probably one of the most promising demos of last year, have finally released their debut 7” on Labor Of Love. “In A Box” is more of the reverbed funeral dirge pop that myself and many others fell in love with on their demo. Think early Cocteau Twins, plus Scrawl, and you’re almost there. The girls have done a bit of dusting-off for this single, fidelity-wise, but just enough to let a few beams of light shine through, which is perfect. It’s been getting repeated listens for the past few weeks over here and I can’t wait to receive my copy and hear the B-side!
